Kemi Adetiba Partners with Trequity Capital.
Talented music video and movie director, Kemi Adetiba, has partnered with Trequity Capital towards the production of her soon-to-be-released movie, King of Boys. The creator of the ground-breaking “King Women” web series is also the director of the first installment of the hugely successful The Wedding Party 1.
According to Ms. Adetiba, King of Boys is already the worst kept secret going by the buzz its announcement has generated on the internet. Pictures of Nollywood heavyweights holding scripts have been spotted on Instagram and other social media sites. King of Boys will boast a parade of stars which include Adesua Etomi, Reminisce, Sola Sobowale, Omoni Oboli, Osas Ighodaro, Zack Orji, Toni Tones, Ademola Adedoyin and others.
Speaking for Triequity Capital, the managing partner, Basheer Tosin Ashafa says the partnership with Kemi Adetiba Visuals (the holding company behind the production) underscores the company’s dedication to Nollywood and high budget flicks which form a core of its alternative investment portfolio.
Industry pundits already opine that if the soar-away success of Wedding Party 1 is to be relied on as a benchmark, then Adetiba is well on her way to surpass that achievement.
